Clown author and performer Jeff Raz

An interview podcast giving the inside scoop of what happens in comedy scenes across the globe and dedicated to speaking to the mavericks in the comedy world. In this episode we speak to clown Jeff Raz. Jeff Raz starred in ‘Corteo’ with Cirque du Soleil for over 500 performances. He was co-founder of the Clown Conservatory in San Fransisco. He has performed and taught in Eskimo villages in the middle of winter. He also founded the Medical Clown Project and repurposed his performing and teaching skills to work with the global communications consulting firm Stand & Deliver.

Now he has taken these extraordinary clown experiences and written them into three remarkable books: ‘The Secret Life of Clowns’, launched nationally at the Smithsonian in 2017; ‘The Snow Clown’ which dropped in September, 2018; and ‘Love Death Circus’ published during the pandemic in weekly instalments.
